400 THOUSAND EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS FLOOD THE WIDEST AVENUE IN THE WORLD
Almost 400 thousand evangelical Christian faithful flooded with faith yesterday 9 de Julio Avenue, The widest avenue in the world, overwhelming it from the Obelisk to the crossing with Belgrano street,  over 5 blocks, true to what they had predicted would be " the greater religious concentration of the end of century in Argentina ".

STRANGE TREMOR DURING CHRISTIAN RALLY
Buildings of this Capital shook yesterday afternoon in  9 de Julio Avenue. The tremor, lasting about 40 seconds, was felt around 4pm  in the studios of AM Radio station "Continental" , on the third floor a building on Rivadavia and Esmeralda streets, and was also felt by employees of the Telephone central building, located in Corrientes and Maipu streets, among others.

PENTECOSTALS. METHODISTS. BAPTISTS, LUTHERANS
In the formidable communion of faith that was lived yesterday in 9 de Julio Avenue, were not only one denomination of evangelical Christians, but in the crowd there were also representations of the many Pentecostals branches, Baptists, Free brethren, Methodists and Lutherans, all after the same common objective: to demystify the false idea of people that we are sects.

AN ANXIOUSLY AWAITED PERMIT 
Until just a few days before the start of the massive concentration of evangelical Christians, a tense situation had developed between the Christian representatives and the local Government. The reason was that the permit to have the rally had not been issued. Finally, after intense last minute pressure from the organizers, who threatened  they would accuse the Government of "Religious Discrimination", the awaited permit was issued. The city Government finally, to erase any hard feelings, sent representative officials to attend the rally.

9 DE JULIO AVENUE CLOSE TO TRAFFIC
A multitude of evangelical Christians took their fervor to the obelisk in downtown Buenos Aires. Many of the faithful arrived in 2.500 buses which were parked along the length of the 9 de Julio Ave. Because of  the rally, the avenue was closed and   traffic had to be diverted to side streets.

FOUNDING FATHERS INFLUENCED BY PROTESTANTS
Speaking of Argentine history, we must admit that since our declaration of independence, the influence of the thoughts and presence of  evangelical Christians cannot be brushed aside. Many of our founding fathers were influenced by books of Protestant authors.

MULTITUDINOUS MANIFESTATION OF EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS
Evangelical Christian faithful gathered yesterday in front of the obelisk transforming it to an altar of faith. As they had predicted it was, "the greater religious concentration of the end of century in Argentina ". 

DEMANDS OF THE EVANGELICALS
The different denominations of the evangelical Christians carried out a multitudinous meeting in the center of Buenos Aires to sing, pray, and demand of the Argentine government a same-status treatment as the official Catholic religion.
